CoronaBlade is a single-use precision electrosurgical instrument designed to reduce thermal spread compared with traditional Bovie electrosurgery.
It is generator-free, which means it is designed to plug into electrosurgical units hospitals already own. No new capital equipment is required. The device also incorporates smoke evacuation and illumination.
The near-term goal is FDA 510(k) clearance, with the current materials targeting Q4 2027.
A staged path from product development and FDA clearance to launch, expansion, and the broader Lamina Surgical platform.
Complete pre-clinical and GLP studies, verification testing, and prepare the CoronaBlade 510(k) submission, targeted for Q4 2027.
Following clearance, begin a limited market release focused initially on wound care and electrophysiology, with broader commercialization planned thereafter.
Advance the Lux multi-mode imaging system, integrating visible, IR, fluorescence imaging, and 3D mapping into the surgical platform. FDA submission is targeted for 2028.
Develop Arx, a cloud-connected AI surgical copilot designed to provide real-time guidance, analytics, and recurring software revenue.

This “No Frills” project phase is a set of five 14-plex buildings (with the option to deliver additional units). By excluding traditional amenities like a gym and underground parking, we build faster, and then lease up as each building is completed.
Quicker lease-up means faster cash flows
Faster cash flows mean better finance and refinance options
“No Frills” approach nets rents slightly under market premiums but with greatly reduced construction time and cost (due to area demand and careful submarket selection)
